Yes — the site is mobile responsive. WebRTC works in mobile Chrome and Safari. You may not be able to record on mobile due to CPU limits; we recommend a desktop for recording.

Hosts go live and pick interests + a topic. Guests pick interests and search. We match by interest overlap — more shared interests means a higher-priority match.

End the call. Then hit Report from the post-call screen and pick a reason. Repeated reports trigger automatic temporary or permanent bans. You can also Block individual users from their profile.

Recordings save directly to YOUR computer when you stop recording. We never upload them. There is no cloud storage or hosting on our end — that's why we can offer recording for free.

Either party can start recording. A red REC indicator appears on screen whenever recording is active. By starting any session, both participants consent to the possibility of being recorded.

Account email, username, real name (kept private — never exposed via API), interests, session history, ratings, reports, and an IP for abuse prevention. We do not store the contents of conversations — they're peer-to-peer over WebRTC.

Yes. Profile → Settings → 'Permanently delete my account'. Deletion removes your profile, sessions, ratings, achievements, blocks, and avatar. Recordings other people already saved to their own devices are not affected.

Spam prevention. After signup, click the link in the email we sent. Until you do, you can only access the verification page.

Browsers ask for camera + microphone permission on first use. If you denied it, click the camera icon in your address bar and re-enable. PodRandom works best in Chrome, Edge, and Firefox.

Matching depends on who else is online with overlapping interests. Try broader interests, or wait — off-peak hours have less traffic. Watch Live (Phase 2) will show you who's currently going live so you can join an open guest seat instead.
