PodRandom helps creators find guests, prepare, and record a conversation. A host can schedule ahead or start now, approve up to two guests, and meet them in a private browser studio.

No. You can start with a question and invite someone you know. A creator exchange lets both people take a turn being interviewed. An existing show or follower count is not required.

Creating conversations, requesting guest seats, using the browser studio, recording locally, and following the guided YouTube setup are free. You can host up to three upcoming conversations at once and send up to ten guest requests per day. Cloud recording and automatic AI editing are not included.

Guests send a private introduction. The host can approve one or two people, depending on the number of seats chosen. Other requests are declined once all seats fill or the studio opens. Check My sessions for the decision; automatic email reminders are not enabled.

The topic, description, host profile, and time are public. Guest introductions are private to the applicant and host. The call is private to approved participants. A host can choose to broadcast separately on YouTube only after every participant agrees, and a recap is public only after all participants approve it.

Enter the time in your device’s local timezone. PodRandom stores it as a universal time and shows it in each visitor’s timezone. The calendar download uses that same time.

For scheduled episodes, the host and approved guests can enter 15 minutes before the start, until an hour after the planned end. Start-now episodes open as soon as a guest is approved. Use the studio button on the conversation page. Opening a studio closes any unfilled guest seats; an ended call cannot be reopened.

The host can cancel a conversation before its studio has opened. Rescheduling currently means cancelling and creating a new conversation, so the guest can explicitly agree to the new time.

Participants agree to join the conversation before entering. Inside the studio, the host chooses 16:9, 9:16, or both formats, and each connected person separately agrees before recording starts. Files save to the recorder’s device; longer sessions download in numbered parts. Check every file before closing the page, and agree separately on where it may be published.

PodRandom provides a clean stage, broadcast checklist, copy and thumbnail helpers, and instructions for YouTube screen sharing or OBS. You can start an OBS output from OBS or its paired studio controls, but OBS sends the media and YouTube controls the live watch page. Check YouTube Live Control Room for any final Go Live step. A saved channel link does not authorize a broadcast. Every participant must separately agree before you share the stage.

Use a current browser with WebRTC and camera/microphone support, headphones, and a stable internet connection. Browser recording support varies by device. The mic and camera check can be used without an account and does not upload media.

You must be at least 13 to use PodRandom. Don’t publish private contact details in a conversation listing. You can leave a call, report inappropriate conduct, and block a participant. Read the Safety page before meeting someone new.
